Lets Explore Together
About Me: Alisa Festagallo.
Born and Raised In Florida. Recently relocated to Austin, Texas. Offering sessions anywhere!
I have worked to get my degree in Journalism at University of West Florida in 2011 and my Graduate Degree in Couples and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University in 2024. I am currently in the process of licensure but I have found myself questioning if therapy is really the direction I want to continue in, so this is why I have pursued this space of coaching in a way that is not tied to the healthcare system, or legal system, or any system at all. A more self guided way.
Coming together creates a space where you are fully responsible for the outcome of our work together. I do not provide medical advice, nor do I diagnose, but I am always open to having conversations around these topics to see how this can help grow your understanding of your inner self.
Along side of my professional education, I have trained to become a 200 hour Yoga teacher and then continued to receive my 300 hour Yoga teacher training which brought me to over 500 hours of Yoga philosophy and physical training. In the 5 years of viewing my life through a Yogic perspective often bridges mind - body - spirit techniques as a way of healing and learning more about one selfs purpose. I think these aspects can allow us to feel more whole as we are growing our awareness & learning to accept all of the different versions of us. I love to provide books, resources, or other mentors that can help you as well. I think collaboration and co-creation can be a beautiful part of working together.
Lastly, I love using Sound as a way to improve mood, invoke self reflection, and be just pure fun. I am a certified Sound Bowl facilitator, and I believe music can be healing for the subtle energies that make up our biological system. In my life I have often faced pain and constriction around hard things or events, but through these healing techniques I have been able to feel more at ease in my daily life, and help others with this too. We love a good Spotify playlist too!
I have always loved learning what more life has to offer, and gaining experiences through traveling, music festivals, and close relationships. All of this experience I carry with me as I guide individuals in exploring the intersections of all that is possible for them.
